Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Newslet, we strive to provide the best possible service to our subscribers. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refund requests on our premium subscription services.

2. Eligibility for Full Refund

You are eligible for a full refund if:

  • You request a refund within 7 days of your initial purchase
  • You have not extensively used premium features during this period
  • Your account is in good standing with no policy violations
  • This is your first refund request for Newslet Premium

3. Pro-Rata Refunds

After the 7-day full refund period, you may be eligible for a pro-rata refund based on the remaining unused days of your subscription:

  • Refund amount = (Remaining days / Total subscription days) × Subscription price
  • A processing fee of ₹10 or 10% (whichever is higher) may apply
  • Pro-rata refunds are subject to approval

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be provided in the following cases:

  • Account terminated due to violation of Terms of Service
  • Subscription cancelled after the billing period has ended
  • Multiple refund requests within a 12-month period
  • Free trial conversions where the user was notified before billing
  • Promotional or discounted subscriptions (unless legally required)

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at refunds@newslet.app
  2. Include your registered email address and payment ID
  3. Provide a brief reason for your refund request
  4. Wait for confirmation within 2-3 business days

6. Refund Processing Time

Once your refund is approved:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-7 business days
  • UPI: 3-5 business days
  • Net Banking: 5-7 business days
  • Wallets: 1-3 business days

Refunds are processed to the original payment method used for the purchase. We cannot process refunds to different accounts or payment methods.

7. Subscription Cancellation

Cancellation and refunds are different:

  • Cancellation: Stops future billing; you keep access until the end of your current billing period
  • Refund: Returns your payment; access is terminated immediately upon refund approval

You can cancel your subscription anytime without needing to request a refund. Your premium access will continue until the end of the paid period.

8. Technical Issues

If you experience technical issues that prevent you from using the service:

  • Contact our support team at support@newslet.app
  • We will attempt to resolve the issue first
  • If unresolved, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund based on service availability

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
